Fireworks, London (United Kingdom) 2015
75 first year BAISD students designed, curated and installed a fireworks display on the Rootstien Hopkins Parade Ground. The fireworks event was the highlight, and closing party of a year long series of events to celebrate Chelsea College of Arts 10 years at Millbank.
The event design and curation was inspired by rereading Bernard Tschumi’s ‘Fireworks 1974’ manifesto and an event staged at the Architectural Association in London, through which he first explored ideas on the relationship between space and event and space and time.
